NHS Clinical Project in
Regenerative Medicine

  • The NHS Healthcare Innovation EXPO 2009 was the starting point for the initiative, where BITECIC engaged senior clinicians and facilitated the subsequent formation of the NHS Clinical Expert Group in Regenerative Medicine.
  • A fully subscribed Regenerative Medicine Clinical Needs workshop was held in April 2010 to explore the route to adoption of Regenerative Medicine Therapies in the NHS.

    Download the event report here.
  • A diverse range of stakeholders were challenged to propose how they might contribute to building the bridge to cross the “translation gap” to enable Regenerative Medicine technologies to reach the clinic and patient.
  • The workshop is complemented by an interactive project ‘NHS Clinical Project in Regenerative Medicine – Building the Bridge’ on the NHS National Innovation Centre (NIC) online resource.
